PAKISTAN HITS HIGHEST IT EXPORT IN LAST SIX MONTHS

Pakistan hits the highest IT Export in the first half of the current fiscal year by 36%. According to the Ministry of Information Technology. Pakistan has also become the fourth largest country in freelancing with a 47% growth in freelance earnings. The IT Export rate has also increased as compared to the last fiscal year.

Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Senator Faisal Javed Khan in his latest tweet say Pakistan hits the highest in IT Exports in the last six months. In a tweet, he said our IT Exports during the last fiscal year surged to 1.302 billion dollars at the growth rate of 36 percent against 959 million dollars during the same period of 2020-21.“Hopefully we’ll be able to cross $3.5 billion mark during this financial year”, he added.

He further added that “Hopefully Pakistan will be able to cross the $3.5 Billion mark during this financial year.

Faisal Javed Khan who is also Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting says that  Prime Minister Imran Khan is also focusing on IT growth in Pakistan, by providing free IT Education all over Pakistan. DigiSkills and NAVTTC are programs created by the government to provide free-of-cost education to young talents. This results in increasing the growth of the IT sector in Pakistan. And within 2 years hopefully, Pakistan will double its IT sector which leads us to more success.

After COVID-19 the economy all over the world including Pakistan has faced a downfall in all sectors. The growth in IT Sector will help Pakistan to improve its economy.
