Punjab Announces Tax Discounts Until August 31

10% Off on Token Tax, 5% Off on Property Tax

RAWALPINDI: The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has announced a 10% discount on vehicle token tax and a 5% discount on property tax.
The discount is available across Punjab until August 31, 2025.

Special Help for Citizens

A help desk has been set up at the Rawalpindi excise office for vehicle owners who cannot use the internet.
People who know how to generate PSIDP can pay their token tax online using mobile phones.

Property Tax Challans Being Sent

Rawalpindi Excise Director Imran Aslam said PT5 challans for property tax payment have already started reaching taxpayers at home.

If anyone does not receive the challan, they can collect it from the excise office.

Important Deadlines

• No property tax is charged on properties worth Rs 5 million or less (as per DC rate).
• After August 31, a surcharge will be added for late payment.
• Vehicles of token tax defaulters and properties of property tax defaulters will be sealed or seized after the deadline.
